Single Source Audio Systems Distributes audio from one analog source to a Speaker selector and out to house zones. a volume control is required per each zone.these systems can be installed with speaker wire or if the house was wired with Cat5e to the volume controls you can use a A/Bus system.

We have installed A/Bus systems for a hand full of years now, We have had to go back on almost 75% for repairs.Seams like everyone has a line of multi-room equipment now,the trouble is they are all low voltage based.

If you want a single source system I would use a Stereo amp (Onkyo 8522) with a Speaker selector (Sima),and analog volume controls (Russound)

Here is the Link to onQ,
Had a onQ system in Happy Valley Had to remove it becuase it had AM radio interference, Russound A/Bus system worked fine. Russound A/bus systems have bad power boards.

Niles has some good equipment, Not the best.
